very interesting composition you went for, you eschewed the temporal beauty and ended up with a more Cezanne style piece, at least in my eyes.

I like the rule of thirds of the horizon
Also like the silhouette of the tall trees

Those are some tall trees!
I do have to say that the stray leaves at the top of the frame distract me from the image.
