It's a good action shot. Well captured. Our community has leash laws for cats. Domestic cats kill many desirable songbirds, because it's their nature, not because they're hungry.

This has to be the best capture of the FS. It's all about the timing and you've got an outstanding example of that here. I'm not a fan of cats, and usually can't stand the saturation of cat photos on DPC but this is an action photo, documenting life's reality, and I call them as I see them and this is a GREAT photo.
