A remake of a remake. 10 photo focus stack to get everything nice and sharp

This only took about a billion tries to get 3 bubbles lined up like this. They always want to make a triangle instead of a line!

Although I wasn't able to remake Irene's shot with either composition, lighting, or post-processing, I am still extremely pleased with this photo.

My first reaction is that this is identical to the original. Now I'm off to have a look at that.
Ha! How memories deceive us! I see that this is like a previous homage shot, and nothing like the original Bubbles in Blue. But as it has to emulate a ribbon winner it must be emulating Irene's shot, and it does it well.

Amazing how this can be so beautiful. It almost makes me think it is a transparent animal crawling along. I like this a lot.
