| This is a nice starting point. You showed some good compositional elements by placing an object in the foreground and using the leading line of the shoreline to lead to the foggy hillside in the background. A few ideas to bring it to the next level would include, shooting at a lower viewpoint using a landscape orientation, then in post processing use separate gradient filters to bring down the exposure of the sky to show the contrasty clouds, raise the exposure of the foreground to show the highlights in the water, and use a layer mask to exposing the land a little higher than the water. |
