 Day 4 - taken on Feb. 21, 2012 at the Philadelphia Zoo. I always take shots of them, but rarely post them because they are so hard to photograph. They are very playful, extremely fast and behind very thick glass that's usually pretty grimy. Anyway, this one isn't too bad, so I'm posting it.

Otters are great, my kids could watch them at the zoo for hours. Which leaves me lots of time to photograph them so I know how hard this shot was to get. Very nicely done.

It's very clear for a shot through glass - and spattered splattered glass at that. I can't get the penguins at our zoo for the same reason - but I keep trying, too. They are huge - and it looks as if they have a nice environment to play in.
