 Here is my view looking east. I live about 1/3 mile up this dirt road from the main road, which runs along the freeway. 2012 has been the first full year I've had in my house, so for many many months I continued to take sunrise and sunset images because I never tired of the desolate view. It's pretty old hat now, and am often far too lazy to drag out my camera :-) It's pathetic!

Well get back out there, girl. This is splendid. You caught the sun at just the right point - love those rays. Where is this? Looks like southeastern Colorado or somewhere like that - maybe New Mexico. Open. Space to breathe. Funny how we all have different ideas of beauty :)

We're three months into our first house, and there's definitely a change in the way I view things from the porch. Same sunsets, just my sunsets, now.

Seems to be very remote. This is a wonderful view. I completely understand taking pics of the same view, I do exactly the same for the same reasons.

But oh what a view you have. Even if you just sit out on the porch with a cat or six and sip a cup of coffee, it's worth the effort.
