I'm trying out a new camera with this shot using the miniature setting in the creative mode. that is probably what caused the bluring and distortion. First time using it. From a parking lot on the way to a movie.

A really good illustration of the theme. That building absolutely dwarfs its neighbours. It appears to be wider at the top - is that for real?

Definitely showing proportion, but that extreme sharpening of the buildings and the extreme blurring of the sky is unappealing to me.

Lots of noise reduction and/or blurring after-effects leave this feeling unpleasant, I think.
