I really, really wanted to do this challenge. Of course it was the last day, and I had nothing. No ideas, and I had missed so many challenges recently. :( (well, so many for me. :)
So I looked through the week to see if I had shot anything that I could shoehorn in.
I had done a photoshoot for a family on saturday. I had done a shoot for them 6 years ago and they wanted another one! Cool! I got distracted during the shoot when some pelicans flew over...
ok... actually, it flew over before they got there... anyway, I had some pelicans, and that's about it...
Wait!! I had a front door!!
Unfortunately, I shot the front door, didn't bother cleaning up all the junk around the right side, so I had to kinda had to make up the right side and the floor doesn't look quite right and there are other issues, and this and that... but anyway -- I learned my lesson -- don't be lazy when shooting!!! It creates way way more work in the post processing! :D
Thanks for all the great comments! |

Really like this. Nice work, like the b&w. A favorite in this challenge. |

The water coming right up to the welcome mat, the open door, the bare floor that suggests, to me, an empty space, the birds, the tones - complicated and simple at once as the end would doubtless be. Voted earlier. Top five. |

Hope it's still sand out in front, and not the middle of the ocean.. |

7 from me... It's believably done. Like the absence of color. |

Fantastic shot, really well done.
I just don't understand the cracks in the wall going through the moldings.
Do sweat it this is on of my top picks. |
