This is my first subject with my new table top light box. :) I can see all sorts of fun in my future with this thing.
Growing up we always put our own words to songs to entertain ourselves as we drove around the country on vacation ... (The good old days pre-backseat DVD players). So when this challenge came about "your take" on the traditional song I went for it. Now I do have a song... :)
On the first day of Christmas DPC made me see a monkey on a tin box.
On the second day of Christmas DPC made me see two snarky folks and a monkey on a tin box.
On the third day of Christmas DPC made me see three shots of jack, two snarky folks and a monkey on a tin box.
On the fourth day of Christmas DPC made me see four Tylenol, three shots of jack, two snarky folks and a monkey on a tin box.
On the fifth day of Christmas DPC made me see **FIVE DN-M-C** .... four Tylenol, three shots of jack, two snarky folks and a monkey on a tin box.
>>fast forward>>
On the twelfth day of Christmas DPC made me see twelve crappy crops, eleven lame o layers, ten awful outtakes, nine shoehorn shots, eight togs a talking, seven second thoughts, six peeps a 'plaining, **FIVE DN-M-C**, four Tylenol, three shots of jack, two snarky folks and a monkey on a tin box. |

I actually liked how you changed the lyrics. And totally love your long comment about the picture :) |

I like how you got some catch lights in the eyes of the monkey. You can tell where the light is coming from. I am not too familiar with a table top light box. I am assuming you are trying to produce as bright white seamless background. Here the background is a little yellow and the light on the background uneven. I would love to see a shot of the set up! |

i think the fact that the white balance is a bit off and it just seems to be a random assortment of item with no real stroy behind it. otherwise its a fairly sharp evenly lit scene. |

i'm willing to bet you'll get a lot of dnmc scores and several comments
i chuckled at this and it's cute, so i'm not going to lowball the score on it too much - for all we know you may have your own version of the song you sing (sang/will sing) with your own kids that includes a monkey instead of a partridge |

I like this twist on the song. In fact, these lyrics are already better than the original. |
