Thank you so much h2 and Tiny, for taking the time to comment.
I think I am really going to like taking part in challenges here. I may sound crazy, (maybe even a little bitter) but I'm totally digging my low scores, and your less than enthusiastic input. The internet is WAY too nice and feel good out there for me as of late. To be honest... I felt the exact same way about this image for this challenge as you all did (other than denoise. It was untouched, unless the way my camera processes RAW to jpg includes denoising. Is that part of the process it goes through?)
I'm really thrilled to see it play out as I thought it would. Thank you ALL so so much for being tough cookies like I hoped you would be.
I would have most certainly left, if I had scored any better than this. I've been quite discouraged lately, and trying to find ways to improve, and push myself and pulling my hair thinking "Why?! I'm the only one that will see it.". From here on out I will be giving a lot more of myself to the entries, and feel more compelled and driven to do so. |

| What Tiny said, plus it's rather green (or turquoise at the most) than blue. Also wonder about your settings; looks like you shot in dark night - anyway, high ISO and denoising afterwards plus large aperture make for a really (too) soft image. |

Well possibly not the start you were hoping for but no doubt the only way is up !
It a nice image but I feel a little too abstract for folks in this challenge. All the best in the future. |
