 One of the English teachers had this on her desk. I'd never seen one before. Cucumis metuliferus, apparently tastes like lime banana jelly. It turns yellow when ripe. The fruit with most magnesium. Good for reducing hypertension. Plus, you can make a "green curtain" and kill two bird with one stone.
("Green curtain" being a net-supported vine covering a window to save on air-conditioning costs.

That is one weird looking fruit - not sure I would go for lime banana flavor...but to each their own. I do like the look and love the cool advertisement

I find them tasty.
Couple years back I was on a mission to try everything once.

Have you tried durian? You're not allowed to eat them on public transit in some Asian countries because of the smell.

I've seen them, but never tried them. I think they were too expensive to experiment with.
