I'm really enjoying the contrast between the peaks in sunlight and the foreground and FWIW I don't object to there being snow. The foreground is reminding me of a wood cut or etching I think because of the very dark areas along each ridge top, an effect I like.

Technically snow is water ... The challenge said to show the effects of water without showing water ... You are skating on thin ice ... (oops, that is water too ...)

I expected to see more mountains. The wavey landscape looks like an undulating ocean.

You see, I get the erosion and glaciation idea from this image. There are some technical problems (halos and a dust spot) along the skyline, but otherwise a fine image. 8
