I would take this picture out of Temporary Junk into a Witnessing Time album
Other than the spectacular waves, the relationship between the piers and the people is fascinating

Pretty! In this version I am simply fascinated by the wavewash. I feel like I'm moving with it. I think that people can sometimes overestimate the utility of leading lines but in this photo - I adore that long pier, especially because it's bustling. I prefer this composition to the clumpier ones suggested. Thanks for posting this!
