 Well, this is my final entry for the 2012 Free Study Marathon and once again I could not come up with anything special for the month :P

This was my first year doing the FSM and I'm grateful to Scott for organizing it, but I think I'll pass on it in the future. I have so little free time to shoot, and when I do get to shoot the famous Seattle weather often disappoints.

It will be neat to see who does win the FSM this year in a very close race though. And I'm very glad to see how many people truly enjoy participating in the competition :)

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Standout coloration and a great composition - the looming sign is actually rather jolly and the overall clarity of the image is superb. There is so much to engage the eye here and I keep discovering things like the two people at the top of the steps...

Critical stuff: Not really.

Overall: A very enjoyable transportive image.
