 The shoot has been made at park as part of wedding photos. I used umbrella to emphasise subject and to enhance overall vividness of photo. Then I realise that it would be a good idea to stand out umbrella from rest of picture by splashing its colours.

I really want to see this with full colors. The de-saturation makes here look like a corpse.

Ah, selective desat! It does make the umbrella colors stand out. IMO, a plainer background would work better.

I would have preferred the background to have been desaturated so that there was a hint of colour left. The contrast between the brilliant umbrella and the monochrome is a bit over the top. It's still a great image.

I've got almost the same umbrella and didn't even contemplate using it. LOL.

The selective black-and-white makes the shot look a bit artificial, IMO.
