 I happened upon this canna (a member of the zingiberales family) on our walk this morning, before the light was strong. Yesterday I spent some time in the botanical gardens, but the light was pretty harsh and I didn't get what I wanted.

Nice colours throughout, but would have liked to see a better angle to show the yellow flower more.

Nice color on the flowers, but background is kind of distracting. Might have been more interesting to focus on one of the flowers, the one that isn't withering?
