I shouldn't have looked at this right when I'm hungry for lunch! I like that you included the pepper at the top left. The colours are juicy. |

I have to think this is about more than food and the rolling pin seems throw out a hint. Or at least a challenge about what we think about the production of food. Maybe the heavy rolling pin was used to crack the head of the lamb to get at the rack. Maybe not but knowing you, there is more to this than meets the eye - so to speak. Nicely photographed using that articulated screen on the G12. |

Dang, that look good. I love lamb and thus the thought of it as inspired by this shot makes my mouth water! |

Like others have commented, the cutting board is one of the most interesting items in this shot ..the fresh ribs placed on top of such a well used board give us, the viewers, a sense of what is to come. I like the whimsical little red pepper in the top leftish corner - part of a rub? Is it hot or sweet - will you roast it? I also like the angles in this shot - nothing is perfectly straight which is as it should be (unless you have a bad case of OCD) it looks less set up and more just a quick glimpse into the making of a grand feast. Totally enjoyed visiting your meal. |

Lovely presentation and lighting of the food (reminds me: having spare ribs myself tonight ;-) The texture of the cutting board is great as well. I think you should get rid of all the other objects and backgrounds surrounding the board. |

Nice shot, with lovely highlights on the meat (and on the top of the bowl). You could probably do away with the yellow bit on the right, and the bluish border on the bottom. |

Good lighting on the food items and cutting board. I am a little distracted by the bright yellow on the left, otherwise it's great. Bet that was an excellent meal! |

The textures and tones of the worn wood work beautifully to set off the rack of lamb. Love the inclusion of the chopped herbs. Such a nice palette. |
