Love all the textures. I think a bit of separation from the bg would have resolved the "location' issue. Congrats on the tt.

The lips really make this photo work. His mouth is slightly ajar, something that you would naturally do if you were searching for something.

Does it look too much like a studio portrait shot, given the background?

Would a white background be better?

Or maybe an exterior background. I'm just not sure.

Everything about him is perfect, but I am put off by the background.
