A very candid image - there seems to be a great deal of humanity in this image - almost Franciscan if you will. Good composition and capture. Well done. |

It was a lovely 60 degrees and the sun cast a warm glow. Clara decided it was a good Saturday to buy a cup of coffee and sit down on a bench at the local park.
She had made a resolution to read 50 classic books this year. She choose a spot near a tree close to the Cathedral but not under the shade. In the glow of the sun, Clara took a sip from her coffee and cracked open the book. The gold letters along the spine were faded, but still readable was the author's name: P.L. Travers.
The shadow of the tree had crept up on her when she heard the cooing of birds that broke the stride of turning pages. Clara looked up and saw a woman in a yellow jacket feeding the pigeons. Clara smiled, began to hum the tune, Feed The Birds and returned her attention to the adventures of a magical, English nanny employed by the Banks' household at Number Seventeen Cherry Tree Lane. |
