 Not the normal entry but it was fun enough that I thought it was worth a submission even though it might not do as well as the one I un-submitted.

This little guy was floating/skating on top water on a bird bath. It was morning light which was a little harsh but it made colors pop all over the place.

Love that bokeh! A really fun image, and quite different from most bug shots I've ever seen or taken. Nit: the fly's reflection looks a tad sharper than the fly itself; I might have hand-sharpened the fly a bit more to see if I could get that extra bit of sharpness, at least on the eye. Or re-shot with a little more DOF (like a fly is going to stay perfectly posed LOL).
