This image took a good bit of planning. I came up with the idea the day after the challenge was announced, and didn't shoot until the day before it ended.

I wanted to get something with a bit of a minimal feel. So I needed to find a field of fresh snow (no tracks). I also had to get above my subject without casting a shadow on the scene. With the 15-85, I have a wide field of view, but I needed to be higher than any ladder I had.

Finally on Saturday morning I found a good spot where some outdoor stairs curve above a field. I got my wife to agree to be my model, so we went to play in the snow.

I really like the end result. My wife was have a great time, and it shows on her face :)
