 I was near this beach with 10 minutes before an appointment in another town. The 50 mph gusts were forecast to last only another hour. I rushed here, threw the 70-200 lens on the camera and made my way to the beach. The sun came out as I was doing so. How lucky can you get! Especially since we don't get to see this effect that often.

Robert ( bear_music) often quotes the TS Eliot poem "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" that my image title is from. The line was just so appropriate I had to use it.

Should be a ribbon contender. Great capture of the wind blow wave crests. I think my favorite part of the image is the rich sand color/texture, the wonderful green of the foreground waves. I much admire your choice of low sun and angle to subject. Thanks for squaring that horizon. Glorious gradient to the dark blue sky. I think this is a magnificent seascape. And, great title. This one has it all. 10
