(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) The horizon seems to cut this photograph in half lengthwise. A better placement would have been along a line 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. This would have followed the rules of thirds, and given you a bit more of that beautiful sky.
(2) BACKGROUND I love the background here. The colors in this sky are phenomenal. You can not go wrong with a gorgeous sunset.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL Exposure seems a little dark on the foreground to me. I am wondering if you use the on-camera flash to add some fill light on the foreground, if that would have improved this photo a bit. If you had added time to the exposure, you would have burned out the colors in the sky. I realize that a sunset is fleeting and you do not have time to try alot of different things, so this is the only suggestion I can make.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL Good processing. I think I miught have cropped a bit tighter to remove some of the foreground. I realize that the wildflowers in the foreground were a big part of this photograph, but considering how they disappeared, I think the photo would be stronger without them.
(5)MEETING THE CHALLENGE This photo does a very good job of meeting the challenge.
(6) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO A very interesting photo. I love the colors of the sky. I think if you had used some fill flash on the flowers this would have scored much higher. Good luck, and keep shooting :-) |

I like the Queen Anne's Lace in the foreground and would like to have seen them with a bit more exposure. Perhaps a little fill flash. |

A beautiful sunset will get you everytime. The sky colors are fantastic. My biggest problem is the 3 white patches with a small 4th one in the middle. They take you away from the sky. I would have rather you cropped them out and had more of the sky. They are too distracting, way too distracting. Other than them it is a wonderful shot. PTL 6 |

Beautiful sky picture. I like the silhouette of the treeline. I'm not so sure about the foreground though. I think having something there is better than nothing, but a little more light would've helped without disturbing the sky or the treeline - Inspzil |

Country song? I don't recognize the title. Pretty view. Foreground seems too dim to make out the flowers, etc. 6 Swash |

The sunset is gorgeous but I just can't make out the fact of the shot being in the country or by a road. It is just too dark in the foreground.5.
Take my comments for what they are worth for I am just a novice with a new camera. Dodo |

Mad sky, unfortunately there is a lack of definition in the foreground. |

i would like to have seen the wildflowers a bit more to one side. they stop my eye from going directly to the horizon.. maybe a different angle.. or stepping right or left would improve this. the sky itself is glorious! great colors! |
