great action shot! this is one of the things i love about sports shooting...your there, your shooting like crazy. every now and then, you know you got a killer shot, but you can't stop shooting, because you know you'll miss something. then, once you finally start going through the 2-300 images you shot, you come back across the winner...way to go! hope this does well for you. |

Half the action and fun in a sporting event is the reactions of the crowd. Would you look at the faces of the players on the bench? Nice stop action on the field, good focus where it counts, good colors and lighting. I would have cropped out the two people standing on the right and then tried to get rid of some of the blurry white in the upper part of the image in the background. But, hey, that's just me. Good luck in the challenge. |

Great capture. Might have cropped just a bit different. The background has a nice soft blur but the (I guess) coach and goalie distract a bit because of the different colors in their clothes compare with the rest of the shot. Still above average. |

Nice job catching a great moment! I like how you can see the expressiosn of the girls on the bench too, although I might have liked this just a little better with a shallower depth of field to focus more on the players. |

sometimes too much DOF is a bad thing... great shot except for the girls in the background that are just not out of focus enough. |
