Well I don't understand your point here. The challenge was for artificial symmetry and these are not natural creations. So I thought it fits very well within the challenge requirements.

Architecture is certainly artificial. Sans challenge instructions, this fits perfectly a theme & definition of artificial symmetry.

Is this one image flipped and merged as the challenge requires? I don't see it.

Interesting take on symmetry - the same, but different. A very good example of outside the box thinking. This isn't a manipulated image so it should get high marks for being naturally symmetric - even the lighting from the left is symmetric. Excellent entry.
