Congratulations on your 11th placing. Cool, cute and candid. |

A shallower depth of field would have really helped isolate the players from the background. Other than that, nice action shot! |

Get the ball right at the net or hitting one of the blockers and you've got a 10. As it is - 8 ain't too bad...good capture. |

Such a ballet of action! 9/10s of any image is getting the right moment in time - which is very difficult to do. Great focus, contrasts, colors and composition. I really like it. Good luck in the challenge. |

Great action shot. I almost feel like a part of the crowd. This shot portrays a sort of "intimacy" between players and spectators. All the red and white are somehow exciting and the similar actions of the players on this side add a lot of interest to the image. |

Looks like the block didn't work. Nice shot though. |

Great action capture. I like that I can see the one player through the net without the net being too "in focus" and distracting. Too bad digitals have such DOF cause it would look better if the background was a bit blurred. |

Is it a block or is it a spike. The photo is awesome but the title throws me a bit. Still it's a very nice capture. |

Nice action shot. Looks like the ball is falling on the blockers side of the net though. Cornhuskers? |

Looks like they're about to lose this rally. This could be good evidence since reaching over the net is a fowl...or am I just old school? ;-) |

Reaching over the net! I hope the attacker got the point!
Anyway, nice action shot! |

I think I've seen this before, on Sports Shooter.. Is this Jeff??
Anyway, great shot. In honesty, for DPC, they really go for ultra-sharpness, which may hurt your score a little.. Good luck. |

This is a really well-timed capture.. good job. I think it could use a little more cropping at the top, and wish the spiker's right foot wasn't cut off, but minor details. |
