On most pictures of Hoover I removed the lead in PP. This time I was playing with him in the garden without a lead. He decided to have a go for his good neighbour friend Ben, a Westie as well. He knows he's not allowed to go there, so after a few yards he stopped, looked at me as to say: 'Please come, I REALLY want to play with Ben. Please!?'

This a very attractive shot. The background bokeh adds a very nice element.

Oh so sweet. I hope you could let him go for a visit with Ben. A photo of the 2 of them would be a bonus.

Oooh! I love the sparkle in the background. Great use of backlighting. Beautiful.

Like the POV and the fact you still have plenty of detail of Harvey as well as the nice backlighting of his hair.

Lovely. I like how the light shows through his fur. That's hard to get with my dog (Great Dane). On this shot, I would lighten the shady side of him just a bit more. Not a lot, but just a bit. The other thing is that his shady side is a bit more blue than the rest of the shot. If you're using lightroom, this is easy to fix with the shadow tint slider. With other tools, you might have to do some masking to select just the dog, then adjust the color.

Ha Ha Ha so cute. When my Shih Tzu gives me that look it means "he he I am about to take off and not listen to you what so ever!" and then she bolts. Pain in the butt dog but I love her to death.
Love this portrait.

Yes, we did. Always fun to see his enthusiasm when he sees Ben.
