 My little Bunny. LOL!

Surprisingly, he didn't object to this at all.

Treats were involved, but I expected it to be much harder to get him to wear this (there were no mirrors around).


Thanks to our youngest son for helping me as an animal trainer during the shoot.

He's a wonder!

Although the ears were easy (rubber band holding the fluffy ends together under his chin), I tried every way that I could think of to get the nose and whiskers on there.

I'd hot-glued the broom strand/whiskers to the flower-center nose... and then... nothing. Nothing worked to get it to stay on his nose without the supports being hideously apparent and being uncomfortable for him.

I tried a rubber band "mask" hot-glued to the flower setup and strapped to him... then... a bobby pin hot-glued to it... then... a rubber band through the bobby pin around the snout and strapped to him and... then... then... then...

*sigh*

He and Youngest Son are martyrs.

I am blessed.

And the dog is full of treats.

Youngest Son got a good dinner.

I'm fascinated by this score.

I thought for sure this was a high-six/low-seven image.

Interesting... What did I miss, please?

It's not a typical "I love my cute pet and so should you" image... it has a story...

I can't wait to show this to my daughter. She's has those exact same bunny ears! Now she's gonna want your dog too...LOL!

Slap me silly for not knowing that was your dog!!!! Totaly underappreciated!!! Please tell me you DIDN'T Hot glue the nose n wiskers on??????????????

I think it's her eyelashes that caught my attention first..... (his?) fun. I do this with my Buddy. Although I do not think he would allow the nose...unless it's edible... FUN!!!!! Like this...lots!~

Quite an interesting, quirky take on the challenge. It works for me! Nice catchlights in fido's eyes!

"Mum, you need to listen to me. Either use more or less aperture. My bunny ears are either too in-focus or too out-of-focus. Maybe focus on my eyes rather than my nose. Mum, are you listening??"

Despite being a pro photographer for 8 years nobody ever listened to Rex's suggestions, but he was such a cutey.
