Portrait of my son, taken at the beach last summer -- lit by setting sun. The camera is the Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim. The wide angle plastic wonder with focus fixed at inifinity isn't what most people would grab for portraits. But I guess I'm not most people. The film is Kodak Gold 100.

This is a scan of my first color print made in the darkroom (Kodak RA-4 chemicals, Fuji Crystal Archive paper). The process is quite easy using the drum and motor base. Getting the color balance right is the trickiest part.

Well done Brian! The color is very good, soft and engaging.

I would like to here the joke. :)

brilliant. reminds me of Renaissance portraits (Mona Lisa?) with the countryside in the background. but here you have a pyramid in the jersey shore, and a young man hiding a benign joke. I think the high and wide is made for you - handling many variables at once.
