Thanks so much for the lovely comments. This was an interesting project; I spent most of my time waiting for the Beta to pose for me. Also, photographing glass is not easy; the reflections are really hard to deal with, especially when you don't want them.

This is very nice with lovely texture and tone. Then you get to the bowl where you can see the reflection of the yard!

"Oh, you'd love Italy," said the smug wooden bird, "it's full of art and beauty and adventure. When I finally fledge I'm going to fly to Florence and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of thousands of years of history and culture".

"Feck me!" exclaimed the fish, "A talking wooden bird!".

Very whimsical, yet quite appealing. Love the detail in the books, and the tones in the image overall. Has a definite B&W feel to it which makes it stand out. Very nicely done.
