 I saw this person while walking back home with my girlfriend after having had a huge dinner... finding scenes such as this one makes me think of that Phil Collins song... and I was shocked by the position in which this man was begging for a few coins. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.

I took several shots. This might not have been the best technically, but to me it seemed to be the one that captured emotion the best, or should I say the most indifference possible.

I had previously submitted a different entry where I had captured a violinist at the metro in the midst of some concentrated playing... but after I took this shot I didn't think it stood up in comparison. It just didn't move me.

Another day in Paradise for us...

The legs walking away really makes this one interesting. I saw it in voting but didn't vote on anything, and am not really sure what I'd vote it as, even now. It's unusual, surely, and somewhat provocative. I wonder if one of his legs is longer than the other, considering one platform shoe and the other totally a flat sole. Anyway, interesting shot.
