Hi Anona

FIRST IMPRESSION:
Nice :|

COMPOSITION:
I'm not too sure about the 'busy' background with the different tones and brightness. Other than that I find it nicely setup :|

TECHNICAL:
Very nice focus, good use of DOF to blur out the 'distracting' bg. Nice soft lighting on the book...i like the shadows on the pages. :)

ARTISTIC:
This would make a cool shot to promote the book. I think you got the score you got because some people see this image as a 'copout' shot. I thinks it's really good :)

OVERALL:
Very nice shot.

Well, the lighting is nice and a neat way to meet a somewhat difficult challenge topic.

I like the tilt of the book here rather than trying to shoot it straight on... good work :)

Nice photo I don't thinkyou needed to write the title the way you did. The photo itself explains enough. Don't worry the title doesn't affect my vote.
