 This is an HDR shot of the Simmons Island Lighthouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin. There are pictures of this thing all over the net - while initially attractive, after a while you see that all these pictures look alike. I find that tedious.

My goal here was to make a photo that did not look like all the others. Hopefully, it is pleasing to the eye, but you'll be the judge of that.

This photograph is the result of combining 8 images which were processed with Photomatix and Photoshop Elements 9.0.
