 I was hiking one day in March and I was feeding the chickadees sunflower seeds from my hand when a male downy woodpecker decided to give it a try. I was amazed at how light it was. He sat on my hand long enough to eat one seed and fly awat with another. He made my day!!

This photo was taken April 1st, it's not the one that landed on me!
