I don't have high hopes for this one, as I don't expect most people to understand it... and it's a bit of a political message, so that's going to work against it as well. However, I really like how this photo turned out, and I think the message is an important one, popular or not. Not sure if people will consider this as action or not, so maybe I'll get the brown ribbon :)

If anyone doesn't get the message... this is a criticism of American culture, with our reliance on electricity and environmental negligence. This is what you see almost anywhere you go in America - it's increasingly difficult to find clear, blue skies and open spaces.

Editing: Resized, curves, levels, sharpening, slight Neat Image, more curves, adjustment layer, border.

I'm a little surprised by the processing comment... since this would have made it even in basic editing if not for the one adjustment layer. I guess that's what happens when the sky's naturally dramatic :)

And I don't know about the red thing... something on the power line.

This is a beautiful photo. It seems to make a statement to me that is a bit beyond the normal. = 10

I really like this image. It isn't the typical shot of the flag on a mountain top or in some other picturesque setting. Nice shot showing urban America. The only thing I thought was strange was the small bit of red at the top right of the shot. What is that?

Too much background which distracts from the lovely flag and beautiful sky.

Usually this type of image wouldn't do much for me, but there is such a striking composition here, that I am just drawn to gazing at it. Fantastic work!

Very distinctive, like an abstract painting.
