 I know this entry will do poorly, since it does not have the in-your-face kind of leading line/s that are to be expected. Also, the subject matter is not so appealing to most, so I apologize to my TPL teammates for letting them down.

Normally wouldn't enter this poor a shot, but had to enter something for my team to get the half-point bonus.

While not DPC material, I really liked the meditative/peaceful sense to this image. What is more comforting that a walk with ones dog on a sunny day? This is indeed food for the soul.

Processing:
- Import into LR3
- Adjust exposure
- Export to SEP > convert to B&W
- Import to LR3
- Add warming tone
- Dodge and Burn
- Contrast and Clarity
- Save for Web

If this scores +5 I'll be most surprised.

Thanks Nikki! It's one of those rare images that I normally don't "do", but something appealed to me enough to submit it. Occasionally an image will touch me in a way that overcomes my desire for a high-score. This was one of them. Ended up doing much better than expected!

I liked this a lot, Garry. Gave it a 6 and considered going higher several times. Loved the tones and light, but in the end decided it was just a tiny bit too bright for me. I thought the lines, though subtle, were fine and the scene inviting. And good for you for entering "for the team" - turned out just fine, I think.
