Camera: Canon PowerShot A60
Location: My kitchen

Aperture: 2.8
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/400s

I know it's been done and redone, but I had to give it a try myself. My setting was pretty basic and could have done probably a lot better with more time and maybe a better camera.

Use neatimage to remove a bit of noise. Also used photoshops to adjust the colors, a small unsharp mask and a bit of the cloning tool to remove some minor imperfections.

nice photograph. the cup itself seems to be a bit off balance but the water and the water drop in the cup are well captured. nice stopped motion.

ooh I like this one! Very nice soft shadows turning to harder ones, the cup is slightly off centre, but now the drip is on 1/3rd of the photo: perfect! The colours are beautiful and I like the sphere you give with it through the title, it fits the scene well. Only thing that bothers me a bit is the handle (don't know the right English word for it, in Holland we call it the 'ear') seems a bit brushed on the right edge in photoshop (or something alike)..it's not a crime though, but the hard edge seems a bit out of place.. even though I'll give it a 10, also because you managed to give such an original twirl to a cliche thing..well done!!!

don't really like that handle on the other side. It is more of a distracting blob than a part of the cup.

Here you have captured the technique of the effect. It lacks the usual sharpness that must be part of this type of image. But you are on the right track and I am bumping you up on good effort. Your next will be better.

I like this one because you add something to just the drop by pulling back and letting us see the cup too. Harold Edgerton (the person who first photographed this) would be proud. 10
