Great job and one of this weeks best. The composition is great and the other pig really makes it. Colors and focus are good as well. Good luck in the challenge!

I'm guessing you took this at a county fair. Love the originality.

A bit too dark but a great shot! Robinson's Racing Pigs?

Definitely a different sort of race = )
I like the originality and the angle of composition used. I might have either increased the exposure (up the ISO) in shooting or lighten it up a bit in post processing to add some contrast

Great angle and DOF. I like the composition with the second pig lagging behind in the background. This one makes me smile. -8

I find this picture interesting...it is documentary and perfect for that matter! On the other hand creeps up the feeling that this is a scene I find very sad...I feel pity for the animals (and I don't know whether that's correct, maybe the pigs liked the running? I have never seen something like this before...) Apart from that the colours are all in tune, I find it especially very good that you've managed to catch the moment...the animals are definitely running, still it's stopped motion! The numbers on the backs are still visible adding more information to the picture, the crowd on the background, blurred, but still visible enough...perfect picture, but with a slight cruel (for me) feeling in it... ---> 10

I think you will be maked down by some voters as its quite a dark image.

The composition is powerful and really enhances the frantic nature of the race.

Cute shot. A bit too dark in my opinion, but nice angle and composition. 7.

Very creative, good motion capture and great DOF. I gave this one a 6. A little more light on the pig's face and my vote would have been a 7. I hope you did not have money on #2!

I expected water drops, splashes, people juming, birds etc. but a nunning race pig is way beyond my expectations! And a great quality one too. You diserve a 10

You must be crazy to put your camera on the ground in front of a charging pig. ;-) But it worked out well since the shot is realy nice and the angle is excellent. It would look better with a bit more light, but it still came out really well - good job.

Having spent the past week or so watching pig racing at the local state fair I have to say this is a very apt shot! Great angle on it, really makes the viewer feel like they are there, or even better, in the race. The stop action is good too with the kick up of the hay. If I had any gripe it's that it seems just a tad dark. Fun shot!
