Excellent lighting, concept and composition, and the score showed it. Britannica pointed out the only major flaw- the spider is obviously dead. Had you managed to spread the legs out, you would have placed in the top 20 easily.

Would have worked much better if the spider were in a more life-like pose. Believe me, I understand the desire to use a dead one, but I wonder if a pair of tweezers could have been used to place the legs in something other than its death curl.
