Voted earlier coming back to comment.
You have some beautiful tones of oranges, golds, and greens in the leaves. That is the composition's strength and the I feel the area you should play up. As it stands now the main focus gets lost with too much empty space of the trees on the opposite bank and the less than flattering color of the river. My suggestion is to zoom in closer to those Autumn leaves and if you want to still show a portion of the river perhaps (provided you had the time to do so) a different time or day when it would reflect more of the sky or be less cloudy brown. |

I wish the river water were more photogenic, but I guess you can't control that.
The leaves are really pretty.

The over exposure effects the sharpness of the leaves, maybe take from a different angle? Or alter the Exposure compensation? |
