The first comment from Tiny was, "A bit too mountainy and undefined." LOL!!! That was probably intended to insult me, but I took it as a backhanded compliment. After all, my landscape photo is of the Colorado mountain wilderness. This would be poorly understood by an urbanite from old Europe. I marked the comment as helpful.

Wow...the Alps ! They make the Rocky's look like the hills of Birmingham, Alabama !

I found this description very insulting and I wasn't going to comment on it because I didn't want to go to that level but I will now. I don't know if you noticed but Tiny had mountains in the picture he submitted (it didn't look wild, but it's still mountains). I grew up in Carpathian mountains (totally wild area) and I also thought this picture was kind of undefined when I first looked at it. But what do we Europeans know with our Alps, Pyrenees and Carpathians, right?

Beautiful scenery and a lovely tonal range. I hope the forest recovers. (I don't know about the recovery attributes of your trees, but most of our forests, and usually the individual trees within them, recover from fire.)

Spot on conversion work. The clouds couldn't be better. I like how they almost mirror the peaks.
