I've been thinking of doing a photo project inspired by one of my favorite artists, Georgia O'Keefe. This image is the birth of that project. Usually, I will shoot a specific photo for a challenge but this time, I created an image based on my own creative musings so it will be really interesting to see how this scores.
Anyway, to prepare this image for submission, I cropped it, adjusted the levels to my liking, and saved it for the web. I hope you enjoy it!

I wanted more color, more line, more shape...I guess I'm not a very mystical misty type. I need concrete and blunt honesty in a photo. For now all I can say is nice flower...I guess. Thanks for submitting.

I like the effect a lot. However, on my screen, it's just a touch too brigh for perfection. 8

A white rose? Or a red rose inverted and adjusted? Can't quite tell but on my screen it comes off extremely bright and it hurts my eyes to look at it more than a few seconds at at time, which does not make me personally want to touch it. It's a lovely shot but just to bright for me. And yes, my monitor is calibrated. Started at a 2 but raising to a 3

On my (calibrated) monitor, this is way overexposed! I understand the effect you're going for, but this is too much.

A little on the bright side imo

I'm not sure where the "sense of touch" is on this shot

id like it a little darker

A bit overexposed and im not sure how the title fits in with the composition or the challenge theme

nice highlighting example, I think the pic needs an extra element, possibly have the rose against a cheek with just lips and nose visible (just my opinion - not a reason to reduce the score)

It's pretty bright and distracts from the subject.
