An upward direction of the finger would have made the reaching for the sky effect more effective...as the finger looks like its pointing down from above....also having the finger closer to touching the moon would have helped....nice and clean pic of the moon though

Oscar Peterson said "Reach for the moon and if you don't get there at least you will be among the stars". Love the theme but hated the unfocused index finger.

nice idea, if you could have got both finger or hand in focus, might have worked better?

The idea is sound - and may have worked if you could have stopped down to f64.

Good shot of the moon....bad shot of the finger. Try increasing the f/ to gain a greater depth of field, maybe then the finger would be slightly in focus.

Is the black thing your finger or arm?
It's a good idea but might have worked better if there had been a person visible trying to reach (or tuch) the moon and so that both was in some focus. But perhaps not possible.

Beautiful moon shot and I like the blue background. The finger shadow is, however, distracting to my eyes. Perhaps a little too unfocused or prominent.

I assume the big blurry thing is your finger trying to touch the moon. It doesn't really come across that way without the aid of the title. This image is certainly a challenge for creating deep depth of field. It might have wrked better to have had your hand much further away from the lens and then cropped the image down.
