This image is a real problem for me. There are many areas where the exposure is way over, no detail at all in the white. In most situations, I would not like that effect. BUt I LOVE it in this image, because the white areas are framing that wonderful center of the blossom. Thne there's your depth of field. The center (of the flower) is so very crisp - and there's plenty of detail in the underlying green leaves. The small spots on the white petals are a bit unfortunate, but with basic editing - not much you could do. Overall - a top entry - thanks for sharing.

The petals are reflecting a lot of light. Pretty flower, the center is very good.

This is a beautiful picture of a flower. The glow of the light and the detail in the petals gives it a feeling of softness. This makes it fit the theme. Well done.

Not sure how a flower fits the challenge, maybe when it's over we can start a thread so all the flower entries can explain. I don't get a sense of touch and I don't really feel the subjet, if I could see more texture on the flowers that might help but I'm not really feeling it on any of them. This is a lovely shot but misses the mark for the challenge to me. A 2

Very nice photo but how does this relate to touch???
