Such the lazy Jackstraw always late for tea
Never bothers to ring lately
Says the silly sparrow a gossip in the grain
Have you heard the, oh you don't say

Someday, someday snow shall fill the trees
You best make warm eves

Callous is the old crow, he mock even the sun
Eyes as black as blood, bone crack in the craw
He'd say, he'd say always never mind
Always never mind

Truth be beggar that holds his tongue
Dines on none, none but air alone

Nice use of grain. The border is a little distracting (and I usually like borders); not sure what it is but it seems to be competing with the tones in the image. Nicely seen and photographed.

Great capture of a barren tree in a barren field. The grain gives this a grungy and old, laying forgotten feel. Even the tractor sits lone out in this field where only the crows gather in the bare branches to squawk there noisy chatter. Only one critique/observation and that is a think the grain might be teensy bit heavyhanded as seen more in the sky.
