 I put my shopping before taking photos unfortunately, and then the weather turned dirty. I was able to go and grab an umbrella from my husband who works in Messer & Opie menswear store ( blue sign back there amongst the signs on the left.)
Looking east in Bridge Mall. Shot taken within 20 metres of this one.

Actually, I really like these rainy shots. The wet ground makes for great reflections. Wet Day in Ballarat comes across well as a "wet nasty" day. Much more interesting than a dry shot.
