 We all die alone.

I got a chance to borrow the delicious 100mm f/2.8 Macro and took pictures of everything I could think of with it.

This poppy had it rough from the start--overcrowding stunted its growth and most of its companions perished before blooming. This is one of a few tattered blooms that this barely-living plant managed to put out.

Hmm. Well, after the first couple handfuls of votes and a sub-5 score, I'm wondering if I yet again need reminding that some people apply DNMC standards very stringently... ah well, nothing like a splash of cold water to focus the mind.
