 This is the plastic lens I have been using to shoot through. It is like a little magnifying glass. I inherited this flashlight from my father. It was one of those shake to charge, mail order things but no longer worked when I got it. I haven't seen these advertised lately - pity, coz this one is getting pretty scratched.

Up close it 'focuses' almost to macro degree, with shallow dof. Focus relies on moving the camera in to the sweet spot, after focusing it - before putting the lens in front, if the lens is there first the camera focuses on that. Further away things aren't focused at all.
