That's definitely a wacky food. I think a closer crop (maybe even a portrait orientation rather than landscape?) and different angle might make the photo more dramatic. I'm also curious how this picture might look if it were shot from just a bit lower so that we're looking up at the heap of ice cream and pickles? None of these are necessarily suggestions but more of questions. I think would be a fun picture to experiment with the composition. Good luck in the challenge.

One of the best ideas i've seen on this challenge. The blue background is a bit distracting.. maybe b/w could have been better? Anyway, bumping to 8.

I bumped this one up. Nice coloring. Nice composition. Illustration of the cliche is interesting. Good focus. Good lighting. No wow, but a very good photo.

I actually like pickles and ice cream, what's wacky about that? I know, I am wacky. Nice picture, could use a tad more ambient light and try wetting the cherry and pickles so they shine more, they won't look as flat.
