Greatings from the Critique Club.
I think the top portion of this shot is very strong. The shadows and highlights in the beams play off each other nicely. I find, however, that the shot loses something in the lower half. It looks as though there was quite a bit of post-editing in the trees under the bridge. That isn't a bad thing, but the effects are not consistent. In some places the trees are deep and dark, but then look flat and undersaturated in a nearby area. I think I would have prefered to have seen the shot with consistently dark trees, causing my eyes to focus primarily on the beams hit by the sun. I like the composition, with the complex lines paired against the softness of the blue sky. Good work! |

| Definitely complex and great lighting to boot. It seems to be oing downhill from left to right - which is ok, but would probably be more effectice going uphill. Sky is great. |

| I like the subject but there's something that bothers me about this image - there appears to be too must post-editing done. Colours appear flat and not contrasty enough. Composition is good however. |

| Complicated fear? I'm trying to see the connection... I would prefer for the bridge not to be in shadows, so a shot from the other side to the left, with the sun shining on the bridge would have been better to highlight the bridge, or come back at another time of day. |
